Eroica Gaiole 2026: Race Registration, Accommodation & Extra Experiences

Gaiole in Chianti, Italy — From October 3–4, 2026, cyclists from around the world will return to the heart of Tuscany for the 29th edition of L’Eroica. Set in the historic village of Gaiole in Chianti, the event combines challenging cycling routes, legendary white roads, and a vibrant festival atmosphere that makes the weekend about far more than the ride itself.

Race Registration & Routes

L’Eroica Gaiole 2026 offers five different routes, giving riders the opportunity to choose an experience that matches their ambition and riding style. Saturday features the legendary L’EROICO 209 km and CRETE SENESI 135 km routes, while Sunday offers the VAL D’ARBIA 106 km, GALLO NERO 81 km, and VALLE DEL CHIANTI 46 km routes.

Registration is available through the official Eroica registration system, with places allocated according to the different registration categories and availability. Each registration includes a race pack, technical envelope, route information, food stops, a commemorative prize, pasta party, and showers at the finish.

Accommodation & Planning Your Trip

For riders travelling to Tuscany, Gaiole in Chianti becomes the centre of the Eroica experience throughout the weekend. Planning accommodation and travel in advance allows participants to enjoy not only the ride, but also the atmosphere of the village and surrounding Chianti countryside.

With activities beginning before race weekend, riders can arrive early to collect their race packs, explore the event village, and experience the atmosphere of Gaiole before taking on the roads of Tuscany.
